Mark Griffith Principal, Sydney
Mark is a Principal of Hinds Blunden based in Sydney and is responsible for New South Wales operations. He is an engineer and has practiced as a solicitor in New South Wales. Mark has had appointments as an arbitrator, adjudicator and Supreme Court appointed referee.
He is experienced in claim evaluation, dispute resolution and the preparation of supporting documentation for litigation, arbitration and adjudication in matters involving time, quantum and quality.
Mark has had expert evidence appointments in relation to EOT claims, quantum merit, disruption assessment, defect assessment and rectification costs.
He is also a founding director and former chair of the expert subcommittee of the Society of Construction Law, Australia.
Mark has over 30 years’ experience in senior management and project management within the heavy engineering construction sector including building, rail, petrochemical, mining and materials handling, minerals processing, infrastructure and renewable energy projects. He provides advice and assistance to major contractors and government departments and instrumentalities in regards to project development, contract formation and contract negotiation, project risk, schedule development, estimates and cost to complete assessment and project recovery strategies.
